ABSTRACT
The vibratory roller is one of the important construction equipments for compaction of soil, aggregates, asphalt and concrete. In highway construction,it is used in the compaction of the roadbed and act as an indispensable road construction.The vibratory roller can be classified depending on the vibratory roller’s working principle, the structural characteristics, methods of operation and use .It can be divided through the internal structure of the wheel vibration: vibration, shock and vertical vibration. Whele vibration can be divided into single-frequency single, single-frequency double-width, single-frequency multiple pieces of multi-frequency and stepless AM FM. So, the vibrating drum is the core of vibratory roller .
Our vibratory roller studies have been approaching maturity, but there is still a big gap compared with foreign countries, this article is intended to study the relevant parameters and structure of the roller wheel vibration, to enable them to maximize efficiency in working condition, can be reduced and abroadresearch gaps.
This article introduces the design of vibration roller development, vibration mechanism, vibration wheel configuration power calculation, the exciter eccentric block type, the design and calculation of vibration system, calculation of stiffness and damper design, shaft design and verification, selection and the service life of the bearing calculation.
